Jon Parker

Jon A. Parker founded Momentum Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. in 2005 after seeing firsthand how often insurance decisions were driven by constraints rather than what was truly best for the client. Momentum was built to operate independently, with clarity and accountability at its core. From the outset, Jon focused on building an agency with real structure behind it—strong carrier relationships, disciplined operations, and systems that allow agents and account managers to deliver consistent, informed advice. Under his leadership, Momentum has grown into a multi-state independent agency managing tens of millions of dollars in premium while maintaining a hands-on, client-first approach. Jon remains actively involved in the agency’s leadership, carrier strategy, and long-term direction. He is known for a direct, practical management style and a belief that lasting success comes from discipline, follow-through, and doing the right thing consistently over time. Why he still does this: Jon continues to lead Momentum because he enjoys solving real problems and helping people make sound decisions in areas that materially affect their lives and businesses. Insurance is complex, easy to oversimplify, and often handled poorly. He believes experience, judgment, and accountability still matter—and he takes pride in building an agency clients and agents can rely on year after year. Outside the office, Jon is an avid tennis player—by his own admission, an addiction—and values the discipline, focus, and competition the game demands. He is also active in his church, where faith and community play an important role in how he approaches leadership, relationships, and life. Based in The Woodlands, Texas, Jon leads Momentum with a long-term mindset focused on stability, responsible growth, and building something that lasts.
